Welcome to our Food Forest and Botanical Garden

What's Inside

When Tobin bought the The Jungle Temple property, there already existed several Mango Trees, dozens of Coconut Palms, Plantains, Costa Rican Cas, Avocado, Limon, Guanabana and Oranges.  There was even Dragonfruit vines hanging from a 500+ year old Guanacaste tree!

Since moving to the space in 2020, we have added dozens of new fruit variations, planted dozens of complimentary pollinating flowers, and an outdoor apothecary filled with medicinal herbs from around the globe.

And, by we, I mean the majority of Vasconia, the community here in Parrita.  Nearly every household has contributed a variety of chile pepper, a native medicinal herb or vegetable, or even multi-generationally cultivated fruits such as deliciously sweet bananas and giant, melon-sized, creamy avocados!!!

Below, I have listed the Species we have growing on-site, but also those available for purchase from our nursery.  I will categorize them all into 3 simple groups, always:  Fruits, Vegetables/Herbs and Flowers.

Botanical Garden

Amidst our edible varieties, we continue to add a beautiful array of floral designs, with dual purpose of increased pollinator presence (stunning colibris, birds and more) as well as creating a one-of-a-kind labyrinth of botanical sensations.

Full list of names coming soon!

I am having a local, native expert visiting soon to help identify all existing species on site.

In the not too distant future, we will be offering vegan culinary services, both pre-packaged and live order options will be available.
